Do you know Carolyn Forche? I have just started reading her a little more and she often cites Celan as an influence.
I think I probably intended it to be read as a poem but in a different way from the detail of the one before, I did feel an odd sense of responsibility in stripping out the WordPress formatting and I think I’m now quite pleased that some of the figures ‘bleed’ into the clouds.
I hadn’t come across Forche but I’m looking at some of her stuff now- thus far the Celan influence isn’t that obvious.
